ARE GEL BLASTERS LEGAL?

by Simon Moret 14 Jun 2024

Gel blasters have become increasingly popular in recent years, offering a fun and engaging recreational activity.

However, it's essential to maintain a balance between safety, enjoyment, and responsibility to ensure the well-being of users and the public, as well as to sustain the enjoyment of this activity.

Key legislative recommendations

Safety testing

All our gel blasters are tested to ensure they meet specific safety standards or criteria.

Power limits

The power limits are displayed in the product description.

Public use and safety

Firing in public areas or shooting at people without consent are not allowed.

Open carry restrictions

Openly carrying gel blasters in public spaces should be prohibited and transportation should be in secure containers.

Play areas

We recommend using the Gel Blasters only on designated gel blaster playing fields where safety regulations are in place and supervision may be provided if necessary.

Age restrictions

All non-realistic products are sold with no age restrictions but each weapon has a recommended age in the description.

In which countries are gel blasters legal?

EUROPEAN UNION (EU)

The European Union (EU) doesn't have a uniform law on gel blasters. Regulations are set by individual member states:
